Brisbane Showgrounds

Brisbane Showgrounds at 600 Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills is the Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland (RNA) precinct and home of the Royal Queensland Show (Ekka). Its Main Arena has a turf oval of about 11,850 square metres, grandstand seating for 18,000 and hosts rodeos and horse events. A redevelopment starting after the 2026 Ekka replaces the ageing horse stalls with a new multi-storey horse pavilion.

Brookfield Showgrounds

Large open grassed areas have been utilised for events such as Obstacle Mud Events, Car Boot Sales, Relay for Life, Swap Meet and large Camping and Caravan rallies. With a fully equipped canteen on site and three smaller canteens located around the grounds as well as a dedicated bar area, the required infrastructure is in place to cater to all needs.

Bundaberg Showgrounds

The Bundaberg Showgrounds form part of the council-owned Bundaberg Recreational Precinct off University Drive, Branyan, home of the Bundaberg Regional Show and Agrotrend. The equestrian area includes a 50 x 80 m covered sand arena with grandstand seating, 66 lockable stables, 48 day stalls, a grassed centre show ring and a sand warm-up area. Event camping is available by arrangement, with 224 powered and 220 unpowered sites.

Burpengary Equestrian Centre

Cairns Showgrounds

Cairns Showgrounds is a 17 hectare showground on the corner of Severin Street and Mulgrave Road, minutes from the Cairns CBD. It is home to the annual Cairns Show, run by the Cairns Agricultural, Pastoral and Mining Association, which includes equestrian competition. The main arena (centre ring) covers over 26,000 square metres with grandstand seating for over 3,000 people and flood lighting. Stables can be pre-booked for show competitors and are also hired out at other times.

Facilities include an outdoor show arena used for day and night equestrian events, a covered arena with permanent seating for 650 and bucking chutes, livestock resting facilities, pavilions and a catering pavilion.
