Capella Showgrounds

Council-owned showgrounds on Hibernia Road, Capella, officially named Bridgeman Park and managed by Central Highlands Regional Council with a permanent caretaker. It is home to the Capella and District Show, Peak Downs Pony Club, Capella Campdraft Association, Capella Rodeo Association, Capella Polocrosse Association, Capella Indoor Cutting Association and the Central Highlands Equestrian Group. Facilities include an outdoor show arena used for day and night equestrian events, a covered arena with permanent seating for 650 and bucking chutes, livestock resting facilities, pavilions and a catering pavilion. Camping is permitted on site for events only.
