Longreach Showgrounds

Longreach Showgrounds is a Longreach Regional Council venue on the corner of Sandpiper and Kite Streets, Longreach. It hosts the annual Longreach Show, run by the Longreach Show Society each May, which includes horse events with stall allocation for competitors, as well as the Longreach Rodeo. Camping, stables and facilities can be booked through council outside show time.

Lowood Showgrounds

Showgrounds in the Lowood township owned and run by the Lowood Show Society, host of the annual Lowood Show each June and the Lowood Rodeo. The grounds operate as a caravan and camping park with powered and unpowered grassy sites, showers, toilets and a dump point. Being close to the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, horse riders are welcome and yards are available on request.

Luna Meadows Equestrian Centre

Privately run equestrian centre at 55 Schoolhouse Lane, Tallarook, close to the Hume Highway and about 550 m from the Great Victorian Rail Trail. Facilities include an indoor arena, an outdoor arena, a round yard and an obstacle course, used for clinics, competitions and casual hire. The centre also offers agistment and overnight unpowered camping for riders.

Showgrounds in central Mackay with the main entry on Milton Street, run by the Mackay and District Agricultural, Pastoral and Industrial Association from 'The Homestead' at 24 Milton Street. Malanda Showgrounds

Malanda Showgrounds on Park Avenue is home to the Malanda Show Society, which runs the three-day Malanda Show on the Atherton Tablelands each June, including equestrian events and dairy, beef and stud cattle. The grounds have a large undercover cattle yard facility used for transit and sales, and are the base of the Malanda Horse and Pony Club, which has a 70m x 30m undercover arena. The show pavilion has been demolished, so indoor exhibits are currently held off site.

Maleny Showgrounds

Showgrounds at 13 Maleny Stanley River Road, Maleny, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, managed by the Maleny Agricultural Show Society and home of the annual Maleny Show. The grounds are used for camping, livestock exhibitions, fairs and community events, with hireable venues including the Pavilion, the Dairy Shed and a 15 x 15 m Exhibition Shed. Year-round camping includes power, water, toilets, a dump point and coin-operated showers, subject to event blackout dates.

Marburg Showgrounds

Marburg Showgrounds is a 20 acre ground on Queen Street, Marburg, two minutes off the Warrego Highway, run by the not-for-profit Marburg Show Society. It hosts the annual Marburg Show, Saturday night dances, a garden expo and other events. The grounds offer powered caravan sites with water and an amenities block with toilets and hot showers; tents and swags are not permitted.

Originally developed by the former Maryborough City Council, the venue was designed to support a wide range of community activities - from equestrian events, sport, and recreation to education, entertainment, and large-scale competitions. Melbourne Showgrounds Ascot Vale

Melbourne Showgrounds in Ascot Vale is home to the Melbourne Royal Show and offers 14 indoor and outdoor event spaces. Its heritage Horse Pavilion (Building 2, 3,236 square metres) sits beside the horse exercise area and Main Arena and is used for equestrian events, and the grounds have hosted the biennial EQUITANA Melbourne equestrian expo.

Melton Equestrian Park

Equestrian park of about 40 acres on Bulmans Road, Harkness, on the western edge of Melton, home ground of the Melton and District Pony Club, which holds rallies there on the first Sunday of each month. It has a large sand arena for flat work and jumping and a cross country course suited to riders of all levels. The park is not open to the general public.

The annual Millmerran Show in late February or early March includes a campdraft and a rodeo, and the grounds also host the Australian Camp Oven Festival and club events. A budget campground operates on site with plenty of power boxes and hot showers.

Mitchell Showgrounds is a 10 hectare multipurpose Maranoa Regional Council venue on the outskirts of Mitchell, on the road towards St George. It hosts the annual Mitchell Show (run since 1909) along with equestrian events, working dog trials and camel races. Facilities include horse stables with a loading ramp, cattle yards, a lit sports oval and equestrian arena, pavilions, a bar and canteen shed, amenity blocks and power boxes.

Monto Showgrounds

Showgrounds on Oxley Street, Monto, held in trust by the Monto and District Show Society, which has run the annual Monto Show since 1928. The show includes horse classes and a Friday night rodeo, and the grounds have a main ring and a separate rodeo arena. Facilities are available for hire to groups and private events, but there is no short-term camping and riding on the grounds requires arrangement with the Society.

Morgan Park is a Southern Downs Regional Council sport and recreation precinct on Old Stanthorpe Road, Warwick, hosting horse trials, polocrosse, equine driving and motorsport events. Equestrian users include Warwick Horse Trials, whose grounds host eventing, dressage, showjumping and interschool competitions with a cross country course, and Warwick Polocrosse Club, whose grounds have seven turfed fields, 450 covered stalls, 50 day yards and powered camp sites. Morgan Park hosted the 2003 and 2007 Polocrosse World Cups.
